Submit a company

Put a UX company forward for the next quarterly review: submitting is free, does not guarantee a listing and cannot buy a position. Every claim is checked against public evidence, such as shipped products, published reports and verified client reviews.

Listing criteria

A company is considered for a listing when it meets all of the following. Meeting them makes a company eligible for review; it does not place it on a page.

  • It offers at least one of the four capabilities this site ranks: product redesign, UX consulting, accessibility audits or usability testing.
  • It has delivered that capability for clients in the last two years, and at least one piece of that work can be opened and checked by anybody.
  • It has public evidence of that work beyond its own website, such as a review profile with named clients, a published report or a public contract.
  • If it publishes an hourly rate or a minimum engagement, it shares where that figure appears, so it can be shown on the listing.

What happens after you submit

Submissions are read in the next quarterly round. Companies that meet the criteria are scored on the same six criteria as every listed company, against the evidence rather than the submission. You will hear back either way.

One link per line: shipped products, published audits, review profiles.

    Common questions

    Does submitting guarantee a listing?

No. Every submission is read and considered in the next review round, and most do not lead to a listing. The rankings are a selection rather than a directory of everyone who applies, and no page is widened to make room for a company because it asked.

Is there a fee to be listed or ranked?

No, and there is no arrangement under which one could be paid. No company pays to appear, to rank higher or to be described in particular terms. A submission that offers payment is declined, and the offer plays no part in any assessment of the company.

What makes a submission useful to the reviewers?

Links to work that can be checked without asking anyone: a shipped product, a published audit, a public usability report, a public contract, a review profile with named clients. A company whose work cannot be inspected cannot be scored, however strong the work may actually be.

Can I submit my own company?

Yes. Choose "I work there" in the form. Companies that put themselves forward are scored exactly like companies we find ourselves, on the same six criteria and against the same public evidence.

My company is already listed. How do I update its details?

Use the contact page instead of this form, choose "A correction to a listing", and name the detail that is wrong. If the correction changes a score, it updates on every page where your company appears.
