Privacy

This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and loads nothing from a third-party server. The only personal data collected is what you type into one of the two forms, which is emailed and stored so it can be answered.

The short version

This site does not track you. There is no analytics package, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no social embed. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font provider, so loading a page here does not cause a request to any other company’s server. No cookie is set for reading the site.

The only personal data collected is what you choose to type into one of the two forms — the contact form and the agency submission form — and it is collected so that somebody can reply to you.

What the forms collect

Both forms are built with Contact Form 7. When you submit one, the fields you filled in are sent by email to the site’s editorial address and are also stored in this site’s database by Flamingo, a companion plugin that keeps a record of submissions so that a message is not lost if an email fails to arrive.

Contact Form 7 records the submission time and, depending on configuration, the IP address the submission came from. That information exists so that abuse can be identified; it is not used to build a profile of you and is not combined with anything else.

Neither form is required to read anything on this site. Every ranking, every assessment and every score is fully readable without entering any information.

Email delivery

Messages from the forms are relayed through a transactional email service so that they arrive reliably. That service processes the contents of your message in order to deliver it, in the same way any email provider does. It does not use the content for its own purposes.

Server logs

Like any website, this one runs on a server that keeps access logs, and those logs normally include IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs and browser user-agent strings. They exist for security and for diagnosing faults. They are not used for analytics, are not linked to form submissions, and are not shared.

Cookies

No cookie is set for reading this site. WordPress sets cookies when somebody logs in to administer the site, which applies to the site’s own editors and not to readers. Contact Form 7 may use browser local storage to preserve what you typed if a submission fails, which stays on your own device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Because nothing here tracks you, there is no consent banner. A banner asking permission to do something the site does not do would be theatre.

What is never done

Personal data from the forms is not sold, rented, traded or shared with the agencies ranked on this site. Submitting a correction about an agency does not tell that agency who you are. Submitting an agency for consideration does not add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

There is no advertising on this site, so there is no advertising network receiving anything.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, data protection law gives you the right to ask what personal data about you is held, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. If you are a California resident, comparable rights apply, including the right to know what is collected and to have it deleted. This site does not sell personal information under any definition, so there is nothing to opt out of on that ground.

To exercise any of these, write through the contact page and say what you are asking for. The practical answer in most cases is short, because the only record likely to exist is a form submission you sent.

Links to other sites

Every agency listed here is linked to its own website. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this site neither controls nor endorses, and following a link takes you outside this site’s scope entirely.

Changes

If what this site collects ever changes, this page changes with it and the review date at the foot of the page moves. The date shown is the last time this page was checked against how the site actually behaves, rather than the last time it was edited.

Questions about any of this go through the contact page.
